Boston Pizza

This is about our visit to Boston Pizza in Newmarket on Saturday May, 20 at 545 pm. We arrived, there were several people waiting, so I asked how long the wait would be. We had never been to BP before. The greeter told us 15 to 20 minutes. Since we had been on the raod all day, and we were hungry, we said we would wait (thinking that the wait would be just as long in other places, so we might as well stay there). The greeter then asked us if we preferred any section, I definitely replied that we would take anything that came up, thinking that way we would get seated faster. Two ladies (whom we had watched doing a terrible job of parking as we walked into the restaurant, she took two spots), came into the restaurant after us. Imagine our surpise when they were seated before us!!!!!! I asked the greeeter, about this when one of the ladies replied that they had said they would sit anywhere, as had we. The greeter then said that we had said we would not sit on the high chairs !!!!!!! I hadn't even realized that there were high chairs, I like sitting in high chairs, have done so many times before in other restaurants. I hope that the greeter didn't put that down thinking that we were too old or feeble?????? to sit in high chairs, I am not that old. We asked to speak to the manager, since I was quite put out. She came very quickly and was very friendly, found us a table right away (high chairs which we really liked!!!!!) and offered us drinks to make us feel better. I want to say that she was really nice. I noticed that she did a lot of work in the restaurant, serving, cleaning and generally doing a great job. She came back after a few minutes just to find out how we were getting along. I want to thank her very much, her name is Melissa. Even though we had a bad start, the evening wasn't all that bad. Mind you, I think that the food was good, but not as good as East Side Marios for example.
